Cloudinary recently released their State of Digital Media Report, for which we polled 360 web developers across 19 different countries between October 2 and November 2, 2023. This study’s goal was to clarify the impact that AI has had on the business world, and what changes it may cause moving forward. A key finding was that 48% of respondents report that they are using AI every day, with 68% of users believing that AI’s main benefit is enabling productivity and efficiency in the workplace. Furthermore, nearly all (99%) respondents believe that, regardless of their own AI usage, that AI has the potential to improve the developer experience.
