We recently conducted a worldwide survey of 420 DAM (Digital Asset Management) users across 14 countries for Cloudinary. Between September 5-16th we looked for responses regarding ways that DAM can be improved for future usage. We found that more than half of respondents (57%) use 2-3 DAM solutions, and are hamstrung by integration, workflow, collaboration and post-production issues. In addition, when deploying digital assets at scale across sites and applications, the availability of management resources were identified as the number one challenge at 51%. Post-production issues such as time and effort to create asset variations also rank high at 48%.
