We conducted a series of surveys for Alegeus to help understand the investment challenges facing consumers. These studies found that many employees base their benefits around CDH accounts and FSA’s. One study, conducted from October 14-16, of 1175 US consumers found that of the 25 percent of respondents who have a CDH account, nearly half (47%) say that economic uncertainty has impacted how much they plan to put in their account. Another study we fielded in January 2023, found that out of the total 1018 respondents 65 percent are at least somewhat concerned about their ability to afford care for themselves or their family this year, with even more (80%) being worried about being able to afford care after retirement.
