Social Media Would Become Full-Fledged Search Engines for Gen Z

For Yext, we surveyed 2,312 consumers who had made online purchases in the past year. The survey was conducted from June 14 to 25, 2024, and found that over 71% of consumers rely on reviews to choose a brand, and 30% expect a response within 24 hours. Additionally, Gen Z respondents use Instagram (71%) and TikTok (66%) as primary search engines for brand information.
