For real-time data platform Redis, we conducted a survey of IT professionals in India in order to better understand the steps they are taking to utilize cloud platform technology to the fullest. A notable statistic we discovered was that 66% of Indian IT professionals said their company has already implemented a multicloud footprint and another 31% said their company planned to do so within the next six months, showing a growing implementation in the IT workspace. Looking forward, respondents cited the biggest challenge in implementing cloud technology being the technical architecture differences between the public clouds (50%). Related, the biggest factor in choosing a database was the flexibility in deployment options across on-premises, public clouds and multicloud (17%).
