On behalf of Mightier, we conducted an online survey of 1,021 U.S. parents employed full-time with 6 to 14-year-old children from April 14 to 18, 2023. A digital program for emotional health in children, Mightier wanted to learn more about the impact that children’s mental wellbeing has on their parents workplace productivity as well as how it effects their home lives. Over half of respondents have experienced work interruptions caused by a child’s mental health needs, but only 46% of those have brought these concerns to their immediate supervisors. This has led to a majority of respondents (81%) to express an interest in having their employee health benefits offer services specific to children’s mental health.
