Big Data is still a hot topic, and industry buzz points to Apache Kafka as one of the hottest projects in that space, a notion supported by a new survey showing its increasing use in enterprise streaming analytics.
Survey results were released today during the first-ever Kafka Summit by Kafka specialist Confluent Inc., which offers the Kafka Connect tool and which was founded by the technology’s creators who developed it while working at LinkedIn. Apache Kafka was open sourced in 2011 and is now available on GitHub.
