We conducted a survey for Champlain College to get an understanding of how public perception towards online higher education has changed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The study was conducted in the summer of 2023, with 2083 US adults participating, and we found that 90% of respondents find online education effective in preparing students with the skills needed to succeed in their careers. Additionally we found that 77% of adults think online higher education is the same or better at meeting the needs of students ages 23+ when compared to on-campus higher education.
