We conducted an international survey for Retarus of banks, hospitals, and government agencies in France, Germany and Spain. We found that 82% of surveyed companies, for example, are considering a “geopatriation” strategy within the next 18 months. Regulatory pressure, geopolitical tensions, and increasingly stringent audit requirements have propelled it to a multi-impact priority. Additionally, we found that 80% of surveyed companies claim to have control over their email flows, but only 61% claim to be able to implement their policies autonomously, and less than 50% can manage or migrate their accounts without depending on their service provider.
