Our work for Rave Mobile Safety’s Emergency Communication and Public Safety Trust Survey was highlighted in an article. The study was conducted in late 2020 and early 2021, asking 1011 US adults about their feelings towards first responders and other government officials when it comes to their personal safety and health. Respondents have a lack of trust in local officials, with only 22% responding that they completely believe their information.
An overwhelming 75% of those surveyed are confused about their state’s plan for vaccine rollout, and only 38% are confident in their knowledge of vaccination efforts. The article touches on public events as well, as ” concerts and festivals, and locations such as malls and shopping centers, schools and universities are where respondents are most concerned about violence, with 75% or more very and somewhat concerned about acts of violence in each of those places.”
