Using our translation services, you can guarantee that the survey we field for you will reach your audience in whatever language you need. One of the easiest ways to improve the representativity of studies of American adults is to translate the survey into Latin-American Spanish and then quota sample on Hispanicity.

With our translation service, you get:

  • Translation of the questionnaire text – Up to 20 questions will be translated from English into one additional language per translation service, along with standard demographic questions (e.g., age, gender, region) and common validation messages (e.g., “Please answer this question before continuing”, “Please select at least 3 choices”). The most common requests: Spanish, French, German, Chinese, and Japanese.
  • Updating survey programming – The translated text will be uploaded into our survey tool. Respondents will be able to choose the translation they want to take the survey in; if a translation exists for the default language of their browser, the survey will default to that language first, otherwise it will display in English.
  • QA survey programming – All translated question text and validation messages will be tested to make sure that your desired language is always displayed in every aspect of the survey.

Adding translations to your Researchscape survey project extends the processing time by a week, for translation, translation review, programming, and QA.

This service does not include translating answers to open-ended questions back into English.
