SARASOTA, Fla., September 7, 2022 – Researchscape International, a survey-research consultancy and SaaS firm, is celebrating its 10th anniversary in supporting the needs of the public relations industry.

The company was founded in the summer of 2012 by Jeffrey Henning, a then 25-year research industry veteran and a serial entrepreneur who is credited with widening the market for market research. Before founding Researchscape, Henning co-founded Perseus Development Corporation in 1993, which introduced the first web-survey software, and Vovici in 2006, which pioneered the enterprise-feedback management category.

“The original Researchscape concept was a fully self-service, online survey-research storefront, where research savvy PR and marketing pros would be able to log-on 24-7, select the survey type they required, put it in a shopping cart, make their purchase and later submit their survey questions with little or no human intervention,” said Jeffrey Henning, chief research officer, Researchscape.

But it turned out that Researchscape’s shoppers were high-touch, PR practitioners that wanted human interaction and decision support in selecting the proper survey type and designing their surveys. The company pivoted, hiring Tony Cheevers as its customer success officer, and aggressively began to court agencies, corporate communications personnel and independent PR pros. Business flourished with hundreds of clients throughout the U.S., European Union, Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions and a wide range of business profiles from sole practitioners and agencies to multi-national, public companies.

Researchscape continued to invest in cutting-edge technology to deliver results faster and even more cost-effectively. In 2019, it launched an artificial intelligence-powered software tool, ResearchStoryTM, to help market researchers quickly and accurately generate detailed reports based on their research findings (even when working with competitors of Researchscape). The tool has grown in popularity; ResearchStory is now directly compatible with Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Alchemer and Forsta, and can import Triple-S data from over 80 survey platforms.

“ResearchStory is a productivity enhancer for everyone who conducts research but lacks the bandwidth to spend as much time as they wish developing PowerPoint or summary reports,” said Brad Patton, chief technology officer, Researchscape. “For quick ad hoc surveys, ResearchStory cuts analysis times from days to hours.”

“Over the last decade, we’ve learned that PR professionals are our most frequent buyers and best business partners,” said Tony Cheevers, customer success officer, Researchscape. “I’m on the road nearly continuously visiting agencies, attending PRSA conferences and conducting workshops for PR professionals – helping them to understand the power of market research in enhancing their PR campaigns and teaching them how to broaden their results.”

In celebration of the company’s anniversary, Researchscape is offering two special offers for new clients: a free five-question U.S. omnibus survey for new clients and an extended three-month trial of ResearchStory.
