The second installment of our survey for Blue Yonder was released, polling 300 senior executives from retail and e-commerce in October 2020. This report identifies “the most pressing e-commerce fulfillment priorities and investments of today’s retail executives amid the COVID-19 pandemic.”
In the next year, 50% more retailers seek to automate their fulfillment locations to meet with higher consumer demands. Retailers expect to double their usage of pop-up distribution centers (DCs), dark stores, and micro-fulfillment centers.
